Thanks AKR, he makes my dayas do you Darrel, I have been negligent in my birding posts as I mostly have my nose to the soil at the moment. The hummingbird egg/s hatched successfully though and mother and baby/ies are doing fine.
Aren't they such elegant birds?We have what we call 'White Faced Herons' here, and they used to nest in the trees on my last property a few years back.I went into Corn Buck. Wow, you really get down and dirty, don't you? There's nothing like having your hands in the soil.
