  3. Thanks AKR, he makes my day
as do you Darrel, I have been negligent in my birding posts as I mostly have my nose to the soil at the moment. The hummingbird egg/s hatched successfully though and mother and baby/ies are doing fine.

  4. Aren't they such elegant birds?

We have what we call 'White Faced Herons' here, and they used to nest in the trees on my last property a few years back.

I went into Corn Buck. Wow, you really get down and dirty, don't you? There's nothing like having your hands in the soil.
