On the corner of Hillsborough and Grenville Street
I sometimes
forget,
especially
when in
St George's,
in the heat
of the day,
on my way
to the
bus stand,
dodging
the traffic
and
the drains
to stop
and look
and see.
It is my
ignorance
of history,
or former
occupancy,
that shames
my
latent
curiosity.
Hey there! Just stopping by to say Hi. I'm quite the delinquent visitor but atleast I try..

Such glorious lacework. What a pity it's all falling down.
ReplyDeletesome really gorgeous buildings in st georges and a really laid back atmosphere, thanks for showing us the photos
ReplyDeleteHave you ever seen them when they cast shadows against the wall? So beautiful then too.
ReplyDeleteThe art of making such 'lacework' as blisshill calls it, is now lost. How I wish we can learn it.
